Jason Marshall
Well hello everyone :) thanks for checking me out. My name is Jason, I'm 26 years old and am by residency status, a Floridian. But my heart and soul still reside in New York, where I spent the vast majority of my time. I graduated high school in June of 2002, went to a community college for 3 years majoring in business, and moved to Florida in November of 2006. I spent 27 months in south Florida, then moved to the Tampa Metro Area in February of 2009.
I'm a sports fan, following baseball and football the most closely. In my free time I enjoy playing pool, bowling, going out to bars and clubs, concerts, mini golf, theme parks, spending time with family and friends, bbqs, camping, fishing, hiking, going for walks, and of course, writing. I've been writing on and off for the past several months, getting more serious about it last fall. I write mostly about politics and sports, but have broad ranging interests, including music, animals and movies/other forms of entertainment.
My passion for writing started at a young age. When I was in elementary school, I had advanced writing skills, and found my best self expression came with my words. My ability to articulate thoughts and emotion was far ahead of most of my classmates. I carried this ability on throughout my growing years, and now I intend to put my talents to proper use. Between my political involvement on the local and soon-to-be state level, going back to school starting the summer of 2011, and my daily interactions and experiences, I'm certain to have no shortage of material to dive into. Of course, it doesn't hurt that baseball is returning next month, and the Super Bowl is less than a month away :) I have written blogs on my 2 websites - http://www.rightvsleftdebate.blogspot.com/ and http://wwwjasonssportsworld.blogspot.com (no, there is no dot between www and jason, due to an error). I also have been published in an online newspaper based in Plantation, Florida - http://www.plantationjournal.com. I am new to the writing scene, but through gaining experience and furthering my education, I fully expect that my ceiling is unlimited.
